Since 1994, Betsy has specialized in communications and marketing searches. Always staying ahead of trends in order to meet the needs of client organizations, Betsy and her business partner Fred Clayton founded Trufflepig Search specifically to help client companies with one of the toughest challenges in hiring today-finding social media professionals with the experience to orchestrate strategic communications and marketing. Immediate past statewide California president of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Betsy co-hosts, 2minuteswith, a radio show with Renee Fraser every Sunday on KFWB News Talk Radio about real business success stories. At Berkhemer Clayton, university clients include USC, UC Irvine, Caltech and University of Michigan. Corporate clients include Gap, Hilton, DirecTV, Disney, Toyota, Edison; Non-profit clients include American Lung Association of California, Kaiser Permanente, California Family Health Council and Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. Betsy is Southern California volunteer chair of Women Corporate Directors, a membership group of women who currently serve on Fortune 1000 boards of directors. Sai Pradhan is Managing Director of Trufflepig Search Limited, in Hong Kong, focused on recruiting social media-fluent communications and marketing professionals for client organizations in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Region. Prior to her appointment as managing Director of the Hong Kong office, she was a Consultant in the corporate communications and marketing specialty practice at Los Angeles-based Berkhemer Clayton, retained executive search. Before working at Berkhemer Clayton, she worked in New York City, handling client services at public relations agencies Ruder Finn and Fenton Communications, where she worked with a range of clients on messaging, brand positioning, corporate social responsibility, and media relations needs. Her corporate clients included a private equity firm, a global law firm, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer, and a socially responsible investor. For non-profit organizations, she managed clients in women's and children's causes, a medical academy, and various New York-based non-profits. Sai has also held internships at The World Bank, The Aspen Institute, CBS-TV, and the public relations agency, Weber Shandwick. Sai received her Bachelor's degree in International Affairs from George Washington University and her Master's degree in International Law from the University of Edinburgh. She has also studied at the University of London, at the School of Oriental and African Studies. Besides her native English, Sai is fluent in several languages, having lived in many countries. She is fluent in Hindi and Marathi, and has advanced skills in French. She has studied Mandarin, Spanish, and Arabic. An international citizen, Sai was raised in India, and has lived in China, the U.K., and the U.S. She has traveled extensively to countries as diverse as Ecuador, Spain, Japan, Cambodia, Sweden and Panama. |
